โ€œVerily, the eyes shed tears and the heart is grieved,โ€ said the Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ as he wept at his sonโ€™s passing, he then said:

โ€œbut we will not say anything except what is pleasing to our Lord [Rabb]...โ€

The trials which the Prophet ๏ทบ underwent teach us how to react when we ourselves are faced with difficulties. Whether you have experienced the loss of a loved one or have suffered in any way, his way of being ๏ทบ is your best guide.

The Prophet ๏ทบ himself lost a mother, wife, children, and grandchildren, and went through trials that no one else could have withstood. His response to the death of his son, quoted above, exemplifies how he was at all times, even when grieving. The Prophetโ€™s course ๏ทบ was to return to Allah and ask for His help.

It has been related, in a Hadith narrated by Ibn as-Sunni, that the Prophet ๏ทบ once said:

โ€œAnyone afflicted with worry or grief should supplicate with the following words:

Telegram and Signal Havens for Right-Wing Extremists

Since the violent storming of Capitol Hill and subsequent ban of former U.S. President Donald Trump from Facebook and Twitter, the removal of Parler from Amazonโ€™s servers, and the de-platforming of incendiary right-wing content, messaging services Telegram and Signal have seen a deluge of new users. In January alone, Telegram reported 90 million new accounts. Its founder, Pavel Durov, described this as โ€œthe largest digital migration in human history.โ€ Signal reportedly doubled its user base to 40 million people and became the most downloaded app in 70 countries. The two services rely on encryption to protect the privacy of user communication, which has made them popular with protesters seeking to conceal their identities against repressive governments in places like Belarus, Hong Kong, and Iran. But the same encryption technology has also made them a favored communication tool for criminals and terrorist groups, including al Qaeda and the Islamic State.

If riding a bucking bronco is your idea of fun, youโ€™re going to love what the stock market has in store. Consider this past weekโ€™s ride a preview. The weekโ€™s action didnโ€™t look like much, if you didnโ€™t know better. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 213.12 points or 0.6%, while the S&P 500 advanced 0.5%, and the Nasdaq Composite ended little changed.
